I really enjoyed reading this book and I LOVED the companionship, love and loyalty that a police officer and her K9 partner can have for one another. There was humor, which I love and it definitely pulls on your heartstrings. I have always had the utmost respect for police officers and everything that they do for the safety of others and this story gives you just one scenario that police officers deal with and have to handle every day of their lives. I absolutely loved this book, immediately fell in love with the K9, Suii and I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!!Product details

I loved this book. I cried at the end ,but I'm glad I didn't miss it.
I'm not sure what to say !! It was a great book , but you broke my heart !!! Can't wait for the next book !!
I read this one first and progressed to the first book written by Suzie Ivy immediately after.

I absolutely adored this book! I am a real bawl bag and I was crying pretty much from the beginning! I just know what might happen! I have read this book several times since I LOVE Suzie Ivy! It seems to get better after each read! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It seems odd to say I enjoyed a book about the loss of lives in law enforcement; however, The Forever Team by Suzie Ivy made me laugh and cry. The story was a look into the life of an law enforcement officer and the danger they face daily to keep us safe and the sacrifices they make.
I've read everything this author has written (I think). She also writes under Holly S. Roberts (steamy romance) and D'Elan McClain (paranormal romance). This book is one of her best!
I originally reviewed this story as part of the Code 10 Book collection, my current review is based upon that version of the story, I purchased this "clean" version today and can't wait to read the changes.
I got the opportunity to read the new version of this story tonight and I have to say I liked it just as well as the original. Detective Jolett may have come across as just a smidge less snarky without the colorful language but it certainly didn't take anything away from the story, I still started crying at the domestic violence call and was a blubbering mess by the end once again. I hope that we get more adventures with her new partner Bell in the future!
I first was introduced to Suzie a couple of years ago when I read her book about going through the academy and I’ve followed her and all of her identities ever since. I loved this story, I laughed because I love her snarky, strong female characters and I cried, at the domestic call, at the visit with Suii’s former partner’s family, in the alley, by then I was crying so hard my husband asked if I was okay, when I laughed and said I was reading a sad story, he told me I should probably stop reading. Ha, never! Thank you Suzie for always touching my heart with your words.
